FORT WASHINGTON, PA (July 21, 2026) — As utilities and their customers navigate the shift toward beneficial electrification, CMC Energy has named Nate Strong as Chief Operating Officer. Nate joins CMC’s Senior Leadership Team with more than 20 years of experience scaling energy services businesses, with leadership roles spanning contractors, utilities, and global manufacturers.
“Nate has led an energy efficiency business through exactly the kind of transformation our industry is undergoing — expanding beyond traditional energy efficiency into electrification, EV infrastructure, and integrated energy solutions,” said CMC President & CEO Lisa Stotts. “He has managed programs from the utility side, delivered them from the contractor side, and built the teams and infrastructure to do both at scale. That operational depth will be invaluable to support our existing clients and as CMC continues to grow.”

Before joining CMC, Nate served as President of Energy Source, LLC, where he led the strategic transformation of the $40 million energy services company into a diversified energy solutions and electrical services platform. His earlier roles include Vice President of Energy at Loureiro Engineering, where he turned around an underperforming energy division; Director of Business Services at RISE Engineering, leading multi-state turnkey energy project delivery; and Supervisor of Commercial & Industrial programs at Eversource Energy, where he managed more than $50 million in incentive funding. He began his career in commercial leadership roles at Danfoss, Johnson Controls, and Texas Instruments.
Nate holds an MBA from Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Business, a B.S. in Engineering & Management from Clarkson University, and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM). He is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and his work has been published by the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE).
