Nate joined CMC Energy in July 2026 as Chief Operating Officer. He brings more than 20 years of experience scaling energy services businesses across the contractor, utility and manufacturing sides of the industry, with a consistent track record of transforming organizations into diversified, high-growth platforms.

As a member of CMC’s Senior Leadership Team, Nate oversees day-to-day operations and program delivery, ensuring CMC’s utility partners and their customers receive consistent, exceptional service across every CMC program portfolio.

Before joining CMC, Nate served as President of Energy Source, LLC, a $40 million energy services company, where he led its transformation from a traditional energy efficiency contractor into a diversified platform spanning electrification, EV infrastructure and integrated energy solutions. Earlier, he turned around the energy division at Loureiro Engineering as Vice President of Energy; led a multi-state turnkey energy project team at RISE Engineering; and oversaw large-scale commercial and industrial efficiency programs at Eversource Energy, managing more than $50 million in incentive funding. He began his career in commercial and sales leadership roles at Danfoss, Johnson Controls, and Texas Instruments, where he led a global sales organization for a $100 million portfolio.

Nate holds an MBA from Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Business, a B.S. in Engineering & Management from Clarkson University, and an A.S. from Vermont Technical College. He is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), a member of the Association of Energy Engineers, and has published papers with the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE).

In his spare time, Nate’s greatest joy is supporting his four children in pursuing their own passions, adventures, and athletic endeavors. An avid outdoorsman, Nate can often be found casting a fly line, summiting a mountain peak, or squeezing in a mountain bike ride on local trails.
