Shannon joined CMC Energy Services in July 2024 as the Vice President for Program Delivery in Pennsylvania and Illinois. She brings 20 years of program and project management experience leading strategic initiatives for customer-facing and support teams including Operations technologies, expansion, field ops marketing and customer care center. She is responsible for developing, implementing and administering business strategies and operations to meet and exceed program goals and objectives in Pennsylvania and Illinois.
Shannon is a member of CMC’s senior leadership team, and in that role, she helps guide the company’s growth through effective and efficient management and expansion of the company’s existing and new contracts. One of her greatest strengths is Operations and program management, with an emphasis on performance, growth, profitability and talent development.
Before joining CMC, Shannon was senior management leader of Business Transformation Strategy and Design for Ernst & Young (EY). In that role, she was responsible for client management, counsel, strategic planning and execution for strategic operational transformational initiatives for utilities, healthcare and government communities. Before her role with EY, Shannon held a variety of senior leadership positions at Pivotal Home Solutions in Naperville, IL, a home warranty subsidiary of Southern Company Gas, which was purchased by American Water in 2018. At Pivotal, Shannon served as Managing Director of Operations, providing operational and technical direction for a P&L of 100+ employees.
Shannon’s early career included various management roles at Nicor Gas in Naperville, IL and as a strategic transformation consultant with Align Freelancer, LLC and DS Arreis, Inc., both independent management firms she owned and operated. She holds an MBA from Northern Illinois University, has a BS in Financial Accounting and is a Certified Project Management Professional.
When she’s not at work, Shannon enjoys traveling with her husband and her two children who are very active in sports. She enjoys all genres of music and loves to attend a variety of performing arts including stand-up comedy, musicals, dance and music concerts. Shannon resides in the suburbs of Nashville, TN, with her family and her puppy, Bruno.
